Office of Occupational Medicine (OOM). OSHA. Provides
direct advisory and technical services in support of compliance and cooperative
activities. Administratively, OOM has the Agency's authority to use Medical
Access Orders (MAOs).

To obtain a Medical Access Order (MAO), the Principal OSHA Investigator or another authorized OSHA employee must submit a completed MAO Request Form to the Office of Occupational Medicine
(OOM).
