    Through the alliance, OSHA and CCAR collaborate in sharing information and resources related to occupational hazards in the automotive industry. Current areas of emphasis include lift safety, absorbed glass mat (AGM) batteries, and contaminated refrigerants.

IV. Upcoming Milestones

In the coming year, OSHA and CCAR will collaborate in finalizing an online training module on best practices for those who work with Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Batteries. CCAR will also continue to promote awareness of relevant OSHA rulemakings, enforcement initiatives, and outreach campaigns as appropriate.
