Overview:
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Migrants and Minorities Alliance Inc agreed to establish an Alliance to provide the public with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect vulnerable workers by reducing and preventing exposure to hazards in the agricultural and construction industries and understand the rights of workers and the responsibilities of employers under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH Act).

Exhibit / Booth April 27, 2024 Child Festival at Pierson, Florida M&MA President, OSHA CAS, and others A representative from the Alliance group and OSHA supported the Child Festival at Pierson, Florida. The CAS staffed an exhibit booth and distributed a wide range of OSHA publications, which were focused on worker’s rights. This event was targeted for agricultural workers, and it also provided workers with an opportunity to ask OSHA questions regarding workplace safety and health.
