Alliance Overview
OSHA-Washington Area Office and the Puget Sound Shipbuilders Association (PSSA) entered the Alliance to foster a culture of prevention while sharing best practices and technical knowledge.

Activities, Events, and Products
Training and Education
The Alliance produces safety posters and toolbox talks. Topics include fall prevention cold stress, electrical safety, cranes and hoist, and the Global Harmonization System (GHS).
Outreach and Communication
The Alliance distributes outreach materials to meeting attendees.

Results
The Alliance had little activity for the year reviewed. The Alliance has increased activity for the current year, including a presentation on GHS by CSHO Flessner in April 2019. The Alliance is producing quarterly toolbox talk materials.

Upcoming Milestones
The Alliance Agreement is up for renewal in January 2022. CSHO Flessner and Blake Skogland from CSP in Region 10 will attend upcoming meetings and help to increase the Alliance’s outreach activities.
