    3. Alliance Overview and Goals

      The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., Florida Gulf Coast Chapter (ABC) agreed to establish an Alliance to reduce and prevent employee exposure to health and safety hazards, such as, falls, trenching and excavation, scaffolds, confined space, struck-by, chemical and electrical hazards in construction by developing and sharing information, guidance, and training resources.

  2. Implementation Team Meetings

    During this period, the Implementation Team met on a monthly basis in conjunction with the group's monthly meetings.

    • January 25, 2017; March 7, 2017; May 15, 2017; July 18, 2017; September 19, 2017; October 5, 2017; January 4, 2018; March 13, 2018; April 2, 2018; May 9, 2018; July 16, 2018; July 24, 2018; August 3, 2018; December 6, 2018; January 7, 2019; and February 12, 2019

    In addition to these formal meetings, the Alliance coordinators from both groups maintained regular contact throughout the reporting period to monitor the Alliance's progress and results.

  3. Results of Alliance Activities in Support of Agreement Goals Dissemination: Alliance Program participant shared information on OSHA-developed or OSHA Alliance Program-developed tools and resources, OSHA standards/rulemakings, enforcement, or outreach campaigns.
