    3. Overview:

      To provide the OSHA Education Center students and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect the health and safety of workers. Particularly by reducing and preventing exposure to prevalent health and safety hazards in general and construction industries, and by enhancing their understanding of the rights of workers and the responsibilities of employers

  2. Implementation Team Meetings

    • September 20, 2018 – The MCC Great Plains OSHA Education Center Director met with the ARA of Compliance Assistance Programs and the Alliance Coordinator to provide briefing on performance and activities.
    • January 31, 2019 - The MCC Great Plains OSHA Education Center Director met with the ARA of Compliance Assistance Programs and the Alliance Coordinator to provide briefing on performance and activities.
    • April 4, 2019 - The Great Plains OSHA Education Center consortium partners met with the OSHA Region 7 Safety and Health Manager to discuss Alliance agreement actions.
    • The Great Plains OSHA Education Center consortium partners held monthly conference calls to discuss program improvements and activities.

    In addition to these formal meetings, the Alliance coordinators from both groups maintained regular contact throughout the reporting period to monitor the Alliance's progress and results.

    The Great Plains OSHA Education Center consortium partner held an OSHA 7405, Fall Hazard Awareness for Construction Industry course, in support of the Fall Protection Stand Down on May 9, 2018 in St. Louis, MO

    The Great Plains OSHA Education Center at St. Louis University supported the Safe and Sound Campaign by conducting the OSHA 7500, Safety and Health Management course.

  4. Evaluations

    The Great Plains OSHA Education Center consortium and the OSHA Region 7 office have worked very closely to assure delivery on the key objectives. Contributions to the current evaluation and status of progress were provided by all member organizations.

  5. Upcoming Milestones

    The Great Plains OSHA Education Center consortium will continue to support the Alliance Agreement with the OSHA Region 7. Activities will be include the above objectives. The Great Plains OSHA Education Center consortium with continue its monthly teleconferences and quarterly reviews of progress in support of the key objectives
