The grantee developed training materials on safe storm damaged tree removal and care for employers and workers in the tree care industry. Training topics included hazard assessment and identification of safe and unsafe zones. The focus audience included low-literacy, young, and temporary tree care workers, middle managers, and employers in the tree care industry especially the Hispanic laborer. English and Spanish versions of the training materials are also available for download from the grantee’s website and an educational video may be found on YouTube. |
