Abstract:

Approval of Maryland (MD) State plan, Region III, which has been revised. Federal OSHA standards and enforcement authority no longer apply to occupational safety and health issues covered by the Maryland plan. Federal enforcement jurisdiction is retained over maritime employment in the private sector and employment on military bases. Federal jurisdiction remains in effect with respect to Federal employers and employees. Effective date: July 18, 1985.
