Abstract:

Request for comment on the California (CA) State standard. Region IX, for Ethylene Oxide (EtO), 1910.1047. The State standard, which was submitted May 23, 1985, is substantively different from the Federal standard. The State standard appears to be at least as effective as the Federal standard. The State standard applies to agriculture and there is a requirement to report the use of EtO and emergencies involving EtO. Editorials changes have been made and portions of the Appendices have been deleted. Written comments should be submitted by June 20, 1986.
