    Revision of the electrical safety standards for construction in Subpart K of 29 CFR Part 1926. National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements will no longer be incorporated by reference since those requirements which directly affect employee safety in construction workplaces have been placed in the text of the standard. Relevant requirements in the text of Subpart K, which supplemented the NEC, have been integrated into the new format. Superfluous detailed specifications have been omitted by writing the requirements in performance language. These revisions become effective on October 9, 1986.
