Abstract:

This is an interim final rule which sets forth rule of practice and procedure for implementing section 405 of Surface Transportation Assistance Act of 1982 which provides protection to employees in the trucking industry from discrimination on account of activity related to commercial motor vehicle safety. A final rule will be published after the public comments are reviewed. These rules are effective December 22, 1986. Comments must be received by December 22, 1986.
