Abstract:

Safety standards for stairways and ladders used in the Construction Industry. Notice of relocation of the current provisions of Subpart L of the Construction Industry Standards relating to ladders, and the current provisions of Subpart M relating to stairways be revised and relocated to a new proposed Subpart X. All incorporations by reference of national consensus standards and other outside materials are replaced by inclusion of the applicable requirements from those standards in the body of Subpart X. Comments on the proposed rulemaking and requests for hearings must be postmarked by February 23, 1987.
