Abstract:
The Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health will meet
on December 13 and 14 in Room S-4215 A and B of the Frances Perkins
Building, Department of Labor, Washington, D.C. Agenda includes
reports on: Extension of Permissible Exposure Limits Rule for
Construction, OSHA's response to Committee comments on the
excavation standard, status on subpart R proposed rule, status of
the final rule in lockout- tagout, the compliance directive for the
excavation standard, the OSHA response to the Committee's
legislative proposals, the compliance directive for inspections of
employers with significant histories of workplace fatalities and the
