OSHA has approved Maryland State standards identical to (1) 29 CFR 1910.1000, subpart Z, pertaining to the Air Contaminants Standards for General Industry as published in the Federal Register of July 5, 1989 (54 FR 28059), and (2) 29 CFR 1910.120, subpart H, pertaining to Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response for General Industry as published in the Federal Register of March 6, 1989 (54 FR 9317). These standards were effective November 27, 1989.
