This EPA notice announces availability of a report on proceedings of a workshop on Use of Human Evidence in Risk Assessment. EPA assembled epidemiologists and others to study and comment on the scientific foundation for possible changes in the human evidence sections of its 1986 Guidelines for Carcinogen Risk Assessment. The workshop report highlights the major scientific issues discussed. EPA is analyzing information to make decisions about possible changes and, if appropriate, to develop a proposal for peer review and public comment.
