The Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health will meet at 9:00 a.m., June 20-21, 1990, Frances Perkins Bldg, DOL, Washington, D.C. The meeting is open to the public. The agenda includes reports on OSHA construction activities, status of Office of Construction and Engineering, the John Gray-Phillips 66 Study, construction jobsite targeting, identifying high hazard companies, MSDS revision project, response to remand of the OSHA asbestos standard, unified construction compliance regulations, excavation safety awareness training, hazardous waste emergency response, variance procedures, trench safety, and construction written safety program. Committee will also receive reports from work groups covering cadmium, PELs for construction, BLS update, and CSHO construction training, and address draft proposal to adopt updated PELs in a construction standard.
