OSHA is requesting OMB approval of a one-time-only survey to support the technological and economic feasibility of a generic Medical Surveillance standard. The data gathering effort involves creation of a survey-based data set to assess the extent and content of industrial hygiene and health surveillance programs with regard to occupational exposure to chemicals regulated under substance-specific OSHA standards, substances listed on OSHA''s Table Z-1-A, and ergonomic related health and safety hazards.
