- Title:Safety Standard for Fall Protection in the Construction Industry
OSHA is reopening its record on the proposed safety standard for fall protection in the construction industry, (51 FR 42718, November 25, 1986). The purpose of the limited reopening of the record is to consider new information regarding the appropriate fall protection needs of employees engaged in precast concrete construction. The new information and evidence received as a result of this action will be considered by the agency in developing its final rule for all protection in the construction industry. Written comments regarding the issues raised in this notice must be postmarked by November 3, 1992. FOUR copies of these comments must be submitted to the Docket Office, Docket No. S-261A, U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, 200 Constitution Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20210, (202)523-7894. All materials submitted will be available for inspection and copying at the above address. Materials previously submitted to the Docket for the subpart M rulemaking regarding the issues set forth in this notice need not be resubmitted.
