OSHA Notice STD 3, June 2, 1989, an interim guidance for compliance with this subject, expired December 31, 1989. All temporary variances and interim orders have expired. There are no permanent variances. No new notices or STDs have been issued on this subject.
29 CFR 1926.550(g), Crane or Derrick Suspended Personnel Platform, was issued as a Final Rule on August 2, 1988, with an effective date of October 3, 1988. This Safety and Health regulation is now in full effect for compliance inspections, consultation and information requests.
