US Labor Department's OSHA, McCarthy Building Cos. Inc. and
Georgia Tech Research Institute form construction safety partnership
Signing ceremony will be Dec. 18 at the construction work site

ATLANTA – The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration has formed a partnership with McCarthy Building Cos. Inc. and Georgia Tech Research Institute's On-site Consultation Services Program to ensure the highest level of employee safety and health during the construction of the Georgia Institute of Technology Engineered Biosystems Building. The project will be about 200,000 square feet of research laboratory space, featuring integrated research efforts and an auditorium for the College of Science and Engineering. The parties will sign the partnership agreement on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at the construction site.
