OSHA cancels meeting of National Advisory Committee on Occupational
Safety and Health OSH Professionals Pipeline Work Group
WASHINGTON - The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cancelled the Dec. 13, 2016, meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NACOSH) Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Professionals Pipeline Work Group, in Washington, D.C. Cancellation of the work group meeting has no effect on the NACOSH meeting, which is still scheduled for Dec. 14.
OSHA cancelled the meeting because there was insufficient time to finalize travel arrangements for work group members after enactment of legislation to fund the Federal government after Dec. 9, 2016. NACOSH advises, consults with and makes recommendations to the secretaries of labor and health and human services on matters relating to the Occupational Safety and Health Act including regulatory, research, compliance assistance and enforcement issues.
