Investigation Summary
An employee was working as a volunteer firefighter for a borough's fire department. His last day active day at work was March 12, 2020. Prior to that, he had not been at the firehouse in two or more weeks. He took a COIVD-19 test. The result came back negative. He was experiencing no symptoms of an infection with COVID-19. He took a second COVID-19 test. This time, the result came back positive. He was admitted to the hospital. On April 24, 2020, he died of COVID-19.
