Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) at a general medical and surgical hospital. While caring for patients infected with COVID-19, she contracted the disease herself. She was hospitalized. At noon on May 12, 2020, she died. This was an OSHA-covered fatality.
