Investigation Summary
Employees were working in a skilled nursing facility providing direct patient care when they were exposed to COVID-19. Employee #1 contracted COVID-19 and subsequently died from her infection on July 25, 2020. Employee #2 was pregnant and contracted COVID-19 which required hospitalization. Employee #2's unborn child died due to complications of the infection. Two additional employees contracted COVID-19 and required hospitalization to treat their infections.
