Investigation Summary
An employee was providing private health care to a fragile child at a client house during the night shift when he was exposed to COVID-19 by the parent of the child who did not show any COVID-19 symptoms on the last day of service which was July 24, 2020. Both the family and the employee took a COVID-19 test on the same day. The employee's test result came back positive on July 27, 2020, while the family's test result came back positive on July 30, 2020. The employee was admitted to a local hospital on August 3, 2020, because his pneumonia symptoms had become severe. The employee died on August 13, 2020.
