29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1): Programs as may be necessary to comply with this part are not initiate and maintain by the employer. a. Casey Bortles worksite located in Waterville, Ohio: The employer does not initiate and maintain an accident prevention program to aid the employer and his employees in the recognition and avoidance of hazards associated with residential roofing operations (i.e. fall protection and the use of personal protective equipment), as observed on October 26, 2017, at The Colony at Waterville Landing off Pray Blvd. To abate this hazard, the employer must implement programs to ensure that compliance with construction safety and health standards are complied with.
