29 CFR 1910.266(h)(2)(vi): A backcut leaving sufficient hinge was not made in each tree being felled: a.) Buky Run Road, Cairo WV: On or about 07/13/17, an employee felled an ash tree without leaving a hinge on the backcut to direct the path of fall. The employee was fatally injured when the ash tree fell in the wrong direction and struck him.
