OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees exposed to crush by and/or struck by hazard. Location: a) On the running platform/car sling for elevator shaft B: On or about 01/23/18, employees were working on a running platform/car sling that did not have a temporary three button run control that take activation of two buttons to run any direction and did not have an emergency stop switch on a stand-alone circuit. The employees are not protected from control malfunction which cause the employees exposed to crush by and/or struck by hazard.
