29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(I): Except as provided elsewhere in this section, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling. On or about 2 July 2018, and at times prior thereto, an employee performed tree cutting activities on the roof of a house without the use of fall protection, exposing the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet 1 inch to the ground below.
