29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about October 22, 2018 employees are exposed to a fall hazard while performing shingle tear off and replacement on an apartment building. The employees are working from the roof of the building at 1384 Timber Trail, building 1, Akron, OH. The fall height from the roof to the ground below was measured as 25 feet. The roof has a pitch of 7/12. Anchor points and personal fall arrest systems were on site at the time. Employees were observed both not wearing harnesses, or not tied off to the system.
