29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. On or about December 13, 2018 on the south east side, where two employees were exposed to fall hazards while attaching decking to a steel structure on an exterior wall of a commercial building from a Genie Aerial Lift basket without a fall protection system. The Sonny Steel Erectors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1127535, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/4/16, with respect to a workplace located at 1437 FM 1463, Katy, Texas.
