29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, or uprights did not bear on base plates, mud sills or other adequate firm foundation: Employees are working from tubular welded frame scaffolds, which do not have base plates and mudsill installed. This was most recently observed on March 19, 2019, at the jobsite located at 1340 W. Walton Street, Chicago, IL 60642. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit documents describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance, including an explanation of how these steps protect its employees from fall hazards. Polo Masonry Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1335739, citation number 2, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on February 14, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1747 W.
