29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock or burns; were not protected by protective helmets: A) On or about 08/29/09, at the site of 34-49 107th Street. Corona, NY An employee was erecting a sidewalk shed and exposed to overhead struck by hazards. The employee was not wearing a protective helmet. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
