29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) Worksite, 111 Pheasant Ln, Southampton, New York - An employee was using an 8ft. LOUISVILLE self-supporting ladder to accessing a beam of the gazebo approximately 11 ft. above the ground; on or about 07/02/2019. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
