29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2):Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) was used: (a) The Brooklyn Hospital Center located at 121 Dekalb Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11201: On or about 12/01/2020, the employer required employees to wear N95 filtering facepiece respirators to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 virus while transporting suspected and confirmed COVID-19 patients. The employer did not ensure a fit test was provided to employees whenever a different N-95 respirator size, style, model or make was used. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY.
