29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): (a) On or about March 20, 2021 an employee was using a BIRO model 3334 power meat cutter (band saw) to cut bone-in pork loin with its blade guard adjusted approximately 3 inches above the loin being cut was exposed to an amputation hazard. BROOKSHIRE GROCERY COMPANY WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, (1910.212(A)(3)(II), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1417996, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER, 001, WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 09/24/2019, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 602 S JEFFERSON AVE, MOUNT PLEASANT, TX 75455.
