OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were not protected from the hazards associated with the unintentional movement of delivery vehicles due to not engaging the parking brake. (a) Delivery Site, Baron Blakeslee Manufacturing Corp, 200 Armstrong Avenue, Williamston, WV: On August 23, 2021 and times prior, employees would operate a 2014 Dodge ProMaster, 2017 Dodge ProMaster or 2013 Dodge Ram to make deliveries and leave the vehicle unattended without first engaging the parking brake, exposing them to struck by hazards.
