1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: On or about September 28, 2021, and at times prior thereto, employees performing moderate category work tasks, such as constructing, installing and pounding stakes and boards for concrete formwork, were exposed to the recognized hazard of high ambient heat with a heat index of 98�F in direct sun during the performance of their job duties. Such exposures are likely to lead to the development of serious heat-related illnesses.
