29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s). a) On or about April 20, 2022, at the previously addressed inspection site, employees were framing and installing wood walls on the second level of a residential building outdoors in high wind conditions. Frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment were not completed. Inspections of the operation of installing and bracing walls, the equipment used such as the crane and rigging and/or attaching of the walls to the crane via a sling, and inspections of the walking/working surfaces were not completed. Employees were exposed to struck by and fall hazards. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
