29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Production Floor, Sheeter line 3; On or about September 28, 2022, and at times prior to, the employer allowed employees to work around a folio sheeter machine H-3A604 without a guard, exposing employees to crush-by and amputation hazards. b) Production Floor, pallet turntable area; On or about September 28, 2022, and at times prior to, the employer allowed employees to work around a carton hopper without a guard, exposing employees to crush-by and amputation hazards.
