OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards while using a gas powered handheld power blower on a wet roof to clean gutters. a. 14 Grecian Street, Parsippany, NJ - Northwest corner of the roof An employee was exposed to fall hazards while operating a gas powered power blower (leaf blower) while standing at the edge of a 6/12 pitch roof to remove leaves and debris from the gutters.
