29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i)-(ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: a) East Orange General Hospital Emergency Department - 300 Central Ave., East Orange, NJ The employer failed to develop and implement a written respiratory protection program for employees including but not limited to, physician assistants and nurse practitioners who were provided with and required to wear N-95 respirators while caring for COVID-19 positive patients and COVID-19 patients under investigation. Violation occurred on or about 4/20/2020 and thereafter.
