29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: a) COVID-19 Units on 2 West, PCU (Progressive Care Unit), and 4 East, Montclair Hospital, LLC The employer failed to establish and implement a written respiratory protection program when requiring a physician to wear N95 filtering facepiece respirators while providing care and treatment to patients including those under investigation and/or confirmed as COVID-19 positive. Violation occurred on or about 3/30/2020.
