29 CFR 1910.212(b): Machine(s) designed for fixed location(s) were not securely anchored to prevent walking or moving: (a) Throughout the building area: On or about 12/22/2016 and at times thereto, the employer exposed employees to lacerations and fractures while using a Walker Turner Drill Press, Model: KAB-5E, in that; the drill was not secured to the floor. There were no bolts or clamps connected to the base to prevent the machine from walking or moving when being operated. (b) Throughout the building area: On or about 12/22/2016 and at times thereto, the employer exposed employees to lacerations and amputations while using a Ryobi Drill Press, Model: DP121L, in that; the drill was not secured to the table top.
