29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator: (a) Facility, 114-45 87th Ave, Briarwood, NY: On and after April 19, 2020, employees such as certified nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses and environmental services assistants were required to wear tight-fitting filtering facepiece respirators including, but not limited to 3M 8200, 3M 8511, and Gerson-1730 N95 respirators while cleaning rooms and units, entering rooms and units and providing care to patients suspected or confirmed to be infected with SARS-CoV-2, (COVID-19) and the employer did not ensure that employees were fit tested prior to the initial use of the respirator.
