29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffold and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each workshift and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: On or about February 13, 2020, and at times prior thereto, at the New Sherman High School Project, the employer did not ensure that all scaffolds were inspected for visible defects and all defects present on the scaffolds were corrected prior to allowing employees to work from the scaffold systems and platforms. The employees performing masonry activities were exposed to fall hazards of up to 18 feet to the concrete below.
