29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): The employer did not ensure that an employee using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator was fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) was used, and at least annually thereafter. a) Worksite, 378 Syosset Woodbury Road Woodbury, New York: On or about May 8, 2020, and continuing thereafter, the employer did not provide fit tests to mechanics, who were required to wear tight-fitting facepiece N-95 respirators, prior to their initial use of the respirators. Mechanics performed maintenance work such as furniture repairs and minor electrical and plumbing work in rooms occupied by suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patients. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19
