29 CFR 1910.134(k)(1)(vii): The employer did not ensure that each user could demonstrate knowledge of the general requirements of 29 CFR 1910.134: (a) Harrell Memorial Nursing Home dba Meadowbrook Acres located at 2149 Greenbrier St., Charleston, WV: On or about October 22, 2020 the employer did not provide employees with effective training on the general requirements of the respirator standard such as the fit testing requirements for different brands of respirators. The employer required employees to wear N95 filtering facepiece respirators to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 virus while providing care to suspected and confirmed positive COVID-19 residents.
