29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator: a) Unit Two South, 99 Mulford Road, Lafayette, NJ, 07848. The employer required employees, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), to wear N95 respirators and/or respirators labelled as KN95 while providing care for residents under investigation and/or confirmed as COVID-19 positive. However, the employer did not provide these employees with a fit test to ensure the respirator fit employees to protect them from exposure to SARS-CoV-2. Violation occurred on or about 4/28/2020 and thereafter.
