29 CFR 1910.1047(j)(3)(ii): Employees potentially exposed to ethylene oxide at or above the action level or above the excursion level were not informed of required information in 29 CFR 1910.1047(j)(3)(ii)(A) through 29 CFR 1910.1047(j)(3)(ii)(D): a) Receiving Department - On or about 3/26/2019, the employer exposed employees to eyes, skin and respiratory tract injuries in that no training and information in regards to physical and health hazards of ethylene oxide, or the measures employees can take to protect themselves from the hazards associated with ethylene oxide, were provided to employees exposed to airborne concentrations of ethylene oxide in levels above 1 ppm in 8-hour TWA and above action level (0.5 ppm) when employees were required to open the boxes containing medical equipment, sterilized with ethylene oxide and while operating forklifts to unload boxes.
